Uffizi Gallery in Florence and its Gay main leading exponents

Florence is considered to be the place where Renaissance was born, this city in the middle of Tuscany has been declared by UNESCO as World heritage site. The city has a lot of culture, beautiful architecture, a lot of monuments and a beautiful art history.

One of the most and beautiful museums in Florence is the Uffizi Gallery. This museum built by Cosimo I de’ Medici and designed by Giorgio Vasari in 1560, was originally conceived to be only offices.

This museum with an U form and elegant decorations, became a symbol of the city. The Gallery occupies the first and second floors and includes collections from the Middle age to contemporary art.
