Falling in love with Sicily is easy, in particular with Sicilian food, with its beautiful sea and its towns. It’s a land of people with unabashed exuberance for life.
Sicily has been home of many famous LGBT personalities as Von Gloeden and it has many gay locations in Noto and in Catania.
Today we would like to advice you a gay friendly farm, located in a panoramic position on the promontory of Capo Rasocolmo ( few km away from Catania), surrounded by an amazing Mediterranean environment. This is an ideal place for nature lovers, where you can enjoy your privacy and peace.
Francesco Giostra Reitano is the owner of this gay friendly farm. In 2004, he renovated the abandoned estate of over 10 hectares and now it’s converted into a beautiful and luxurious Winery and Art Resort.
The vineyard, cultivated exclusively with indigenous vine, DOC Faro, extends over an area of three hectares. With the renovation of the ancient stone farmhouse, Tenuta Rasocolmo is now available to enthusiasts and wine tourists, with its tasting room and outdoor patio, a garden for events and ceremonies.
It is a cosy and comfortable place to everyone, a place where to smile and to be happy. Why?
Because you can see a unique golden sunrise from your room, you can experience wine tasting or visit the vineyard. Taste the healthy and local Mediterranean food: it is a sensorial journey, that will make you discover how the artisan products of the land (cold cuts, cheese, and canned food), together with wines, can reserve incredible sensorial surprises. The products are all seasonal and 0Km; the products could therefore change based on availability.
In addition you can spend your summer at the naturist gay friendly beach (just 20 minutes walking or 10 minutes with the car from the farm).
Every year, from July to September, “CAPO RASOCOLMO SUMMER FEST” takes place: art exhibition, meetings on holistic disciplines and much more, in collaboration with young artists and enthusiasts.
You can spend a unique, charming gay friendly holiday at CAPO RASOCOLMO!
